| 5 DAY TOUR - Perth to Exmouth - Western Xposure |
- Day 1- Departing Perth approx 7.30am. Head north through market gardens and vineyeards to join up
with Highway 1 on your way to Nambung National Park and the fascinating
Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations you continue
your journey northwards along coastal roads to Geraldton. From here you
continue on towards Kalbarri for your overnight accommadation in a
hostel.
- Day 2- After an
early rise you leave Kalbarri and take a short drive to Murchison River
Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Here you will see Natures Window and
the Loop in the early morning light. Later you discover the wonders of
the Z-Bend Gorge where it is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the
heart of the gorge here there is time to explore and swim in the
tranquil fresh water pools. After
lunch its on towards Monkey Mia. After driving through the beautiful
coutryside you arrive in the Shark Bay World Heritage area stopping at
Shell Beach. Then on to Denham for the night in a hostel.
- Day 3-Leaving
early you have a short drive across the Peron
Peninsula before making our way down to "dolphin" beach, Monkey
Mia. After this unique experience you travel back along the Peron
Peninsula to the North West Coastal Highway, stopping at Hamelin Pool
and Carnarvon. Minilya Roadhouse is your final stop before
reaching the overnight
accommodation at Coral Bay.
- Day 4- Today
is a day to relax. Explore the wonders of the Reef and its fantastic
marine widlife. You can catch some sun on pristine beaches, go fishing
in specially designated areas, swim amongst thousands of multi-coloured
fish, go snorkeling over beautifully coloured coral, cruise on the
glass bottom boat, take a quad bike tour or even a joy flight over the
reef (some options are at extra cost). Late afternoon and sadly it
is time to leave Coral Bay and follow the setting sun into Exmouth.
- Day 5- Another
day to kick back and relax. Exploring Exmouth, Yardie Creek, Turqoise
Bay and Ningaloo Reef. No accommadation booked for tonight.
- Points of Interest- Natures Window, Shell Beach, The Pinnacles, Coral Bay, Shark Bay and Monkey Mia.

| 10 Day Perth to Broome - Western Xposure |
- Day 1- Depart
Perth and head north through market gardens and vineyeards to join up
with Highway 1 on your way to Nambung National Park and the fascinating
Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations you continue
your journey northwards along coastal roads to Geraldton. From here you
continue on towards Kalbarri for your overnight accommadation in a
hostel.
- Day 2-
After an early rise you have a short drive to Murchison Gorge in
Kalbarri National Park. Here you take time to view Natures Window, the
Loop and discover the wonders of the Z- Bend Gorge. At Z- Bend Gorge it
is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge
– well worth the effort – where there is time to explore
and swim in the tranquil fresh water pools. For the adventurous there
is even an opportunity to try your hand at abseiling (optional activity
at additional cost).
This afternoon it’s time to make your way toward Monkey Mia,
stopping at the beautiful Shell Beach and then onto Denham for your overnight
stop. Tonights accommadation in a hostel.
- Day 3- After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula you make your way
down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins – its a unique
experience and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Almost as famous as
the dolphins are Monkey Mia’s pelicans. Check them out during the dolphin
feeding.
Soon it is time to leave and head towards Carnarvon, however
before you leave the Shark Bay area you stop at the fascinating stromatolites at
Hamelin Pool. And take a well earned break at Carnarvon before finishing the day
by driving the highway to Coral Bay, the Jewel of the North. Tonights accommadation in a hostel.
- Day 4-Today is yours to explore Coral Bay and the wonders of the
Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marinelife. You can go snorkeling, cruise on the
glass bottom boat, take a quad bike tour or even a joy flight over the reef (all
optional extra’s). Today is a day to relax.
Late afternoon and its time for the short drive into Exmouth. Tonights accommadation in a hostel.
- Day 5- A full day to explore Exmouth. After breakfast it’s time to jump on the bus and
head out to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Then you start your slow
return to Exmouth. Have a swim or sunbathe at beautiful Turquoise Bay and
discover this northern part of Ningaloo Reef, Enjoy spectacular views from
historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse, stroll along pristine beaches. Return to hostel late afternoon.
- Day 6- This morning you are up early for a short tour around Exmouth and the North West
Cape to take in some of the spectacular scenery. A visit to Vlaming Head
lighthouse with its 360 degree views of the Ningaloo reef, Exmouth Gulf and the
Cape Range is a must. If the weather is fine then perhaps you can enjoy a quick
swim before you have to head off to Tom Price, gateway to Karijini National Park.
For most of the day you will be traveling through the vast cattle stations of the
Pilbara before arriving at Karijini. Tonights accommadation camping.
- Day 7 & 8- Good strong walking shoes, bathers, towel and a small backpack as well as your
camera and plenty of film are a must today as it is time to discover the many
wonders of Karijini National Park. The Hamersley Ranges were formed more than
2,500 million years ago and contain some of the oldest land formations on the
planet. Hamersley Gorge with its spectacularly coloured walls and spa pool,
breathtaking Oxer’s Lookout, Hancock Gorge, and Handrail Pool hidden deep within
Weano Gorge are all on the agenda for the next two days. The next two nights you will be camping.

Day 9- You start the day with a short drive out to Auski Roadhouse before beginning the
drive south down the Great Northern Highway. Passing through the iron ore mecca
of the north - Newman and pass through many of the large sheep stations of
the region, some over 1 million acres in size. You set up for the last nights camp
together in this station country.
- Day 10- Today
is the last day of your Karijini adventure. Leaving early you head
off down the highway to the gold mining town of Mt Magnet. A short
break and once more then you are on your way to Perth. As the
kilometers slip by you soon find yourself in the wheat and sheep
farming districts north east of Perth. Early afternoon will find you at
the picturesque town of New Norcia built as a mission by Benedictine
monks in the 1840’s. Here you have time for a short break and a
chance to take in the atmosphere of this unique town. As the day draws
to a close you finally arrive in Perth completing a memorable 10
day journey that has included some of the best tourist
destinations in Western Australia.
- Points of Interest- The Pinnacles, Monkey Mia, Circular Pool, Eighty Mile Beach, Coral Bay, Fortescue Falls and Shark Bay.

expense) or you can come on a free tour with us to Turquoise Bay and
The Cape Range. Then come back to Perth with us or stay a little longe,
its your choice.
