	Phillip Island Every night hundreds of little penguins “parade” along the beach from the ocean’s edge to their nests on land. This entertaining attraction is a popular day, half-day or late afternoon tour from Melbourne. A great Koala Conservation Centre and fauna park are nearby as well.
	The Grampians A two and a half hour drive from Melbourne, these dramatic sandstone ranges are a great place for keen bushwalkers and climbers. Breathtaking scenery, Aboriginal rock art, beautiful wildflowers and an abundance of bird and animal life, ensure the Grampians as a popular destination for nature lovers.
	The Great Ocean Road Without a doubt one of the world’s most spectacular coastlines to travel along!! Famous surf beaches, great fishing opportunities, sheer sandstone cliffs and countless shipwrecks are some of the highlights on this 300km stretch of road. A one day trip from Melbourne will satisfy if time is short. However, a relaxed journey, either as an extended tour or en-route to Adelaide, is recommended to really enjoy the splendid wilderness this area has to offer.
