2 DAY KANGAROO ISLAND - Surf- N- Sun

  • Day 1-  Depart Adelaide 6.30am, catch the Sea Link Ferry to Kangaroo Island. Enjoy todays activities including sand boarding,  fishing, and a nocturnal activity; looking at Little Penguins. Also enjoy a guided walk with the Seal Lions at Seal Bay, beautiful uncrowded beaches and a campfire at night. Tonights stay- Surf- N- Sun's Woolshed.
  • Day 2-  Today you will head to Flinders Chase National Park viewing remarkable rocks, then onto see Admirals Arch New Zealand Fur Seal Colony, the North Coast of Kangaroo Island, Stokes Bay and more beautiful beaches before catching the Sea Link Ferry to Cape Jervis, returning to Adelaide at around 10.30pm.
  • Expect to see: Australian Sea Lions, Australian and New Zealand Fur Seals, kangaroos, wallabys, koalas, possums, bird- life, penguins and possibly echidnas, goanna, platypus, bandicoots, whales (in season), dolphins and more.....

3 DAY KANGAROO ISLAND - Surf- N- Sun

  • Day 1- Depart Adelaide 8.30am, enjoy a free surf lesson at Middleton Beach, a scenic tour of the Fleurieu Peninsula, whale watching or wine tasting (winter only), hiking in the Victor Harbor area, then a private dolphin charter boat ride to Kangaroo Island, where you will enjoy hiking and sightseeing. Nocturnal activity; looking at Little Penguins. Tonights accommodation: Surf- N- Sun's Woolshed.
  • Day 2- Today you will head to Flinders Chase National Park viewing remarkable rocks, then onto see Admirals Arch New Zealand Fur Seal Colony, the North Coast of Kangaroo Island, Western River Cove, Stokes Bay, and other beautiful sights. Enjoy activities today including; fishing for freshwater crayfish, and looking for wildlife (nocturnal). Tonights accommodation:Surf- N- Sun's Woolshed. Enjoy the campfire....
  • Day 3- Today enjoy hiking in the wilderness, sightseeing, sand boarding, a guided walk with the Sea Lions at Seal Bay, you will also get to visit Little Sahara, before boarding the Dolphin Charter boat again to return to Adelaide arriving approx 8.30pm.
  • Expect to see: Australian Sea Lions, Australian and New Zealand Fur Seals, kangaroos, wallabys, koalas, possums, bird- life, penguins and possibly echidnas, goanna, platypus, bandicoots, whales (in season), dolphins and more.....

10 day Adelaide to Alice Springs - Heading Bush 4WD Adventures

  • Day 1 & 2- Depart 6.30am. Head north through Port Augusta and the magnificent Flinders Ranges. You get to spend 2 days in this spectacular mountain range allowing you time to explore the Wilpena Pound, Aboriginal art sites and the many beautiful gorges. Enjoy a night of indigenous songs and story telling around the campfire at the Iga Warta aboriginal community. This will help enjoy, understand and respect the aboriginal cultures of Australia's ancient land. Enjoy camping at remote campsites under the Southern stars.
  • Day 3- Today you get to travel along the famous Oodnadatta track following the historic track of the Cameleers and the Old Gahn Railway. You will also get to visit the Arabunna Aboriginal center, cross the dingo fence and check out Lake Eyre. You may also like to take a dip in the thermal water holes at Coward Springs.Set up camp in the red sand dunes on the world's largest cattle station.
  • Day 4- Today you head to Coober Pedy (the famous opal capital of the world) go underground on a mine tour and fossick for opals. Meet the locals who live in underground houses in the middle of the outback.This afternoon, head northeast back to the Oodnadatta Track across dry river beds lined with Coolabah trees and onto the Painted Desert. Set up camp after a walk of a million views.
  • Day 5 & 6- Over the next 2 days you will get to explore some of the most remote areas on EARTH!!!  Enjoy 4WDing through the Painted and Simpson Deserts. Swim at Dalhousie Hot Springs (winter only) and camp in Australia's red center.
  • Day 7 & 8- You arrive at Uluru (Ayres Rock) in time to catch the magnificent sunset. Spending 2 days in Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park gives you plenty of time fully appreciate the Aboriginal culture and spiritual meaning this area has to the traditional owners. You get to enjoy a guided walk around the base of Ayres Rock and a bush walk through the Valley of the Winds in the Olgas.
  • Day 9 & 10- You continue your adventure to Kings Canyon where you will enjoy a 3- 4 hour guided walk around the gorges and rugged valleys descending to the Western MacDonnell Ranges. On your last day you get to hike, swim and relax at Ormiston Gorge, Ellery Big Hole and Redbank Gorge, arriving Alice Springs around 5.00pm.
  • Points of Interest: Flinders Ranges, Lake Eyre, Coober Pedy, Simpson Desert, Ayres Rock, The Olgas, Kings Canyon.

7 Day Desert Patrol Adelaide to Alice Springs- Groovy Grape
       
      - Day 1- Departing approx 6.45am you head north through the            Flinders Ranges which is the starting point for your outback                desert adventure. You will travel through some small country              towns like Quorn and Hawker, viewing dome of Australia's                  magnificent landscapes. Tonight you will stay at Angorichina, in          the magnificent Parachilna Gorge.
       - Day 2- Today you will travel through Maree, along the                      Oodnadatta Track then follow the Old Ghan Railway, arriving in          William's Creek where you will stay the night camping under              the stars.
       - Day 3-  Today you travel along an isolated track through the            world's largest cattle station, Anna Creek. Today you arrive in            Coober Pedy where you get to enjoy an underground tour to              learn about the history of the Coober Pedy opals. After                      exploring the underground you have some free time to explore          the town. Tonight you sleep like the locals, underground!!!
      - Day 4- Big day driving today, up the Stuart Highway stopping            off at several small outback towns. You arrive at beautiful                  Uluru (Ayres Rock) to end the days travels. Here you set up              camp at Yulara (Ayres Rock Resort) where you will stay for the          next 2 nights. Before retiring for the night catch the sunset over          Uluru, where you will get to absorb its true beauty.
       - Day 5- Enjoy a sunrise breakfast at Uluru, followed by a                  guided cultural walk around its base. If interested you have the          chance to climb Ayres Rock before visiting the Cultural Centre            and then heading back to the camp for lunch and a relaxing                afternoon.
       - Day 6- Today you spend the morning at Kata Tjuta (The                  Olgas) hiking the magnificent Valley of the Winds followed by              lunch and an afternoon drive to Watarrka (Kings Canyon).                  Tonight you camp at Kings Cattle Station.
       - Day 7- Enjoy the morning at beautiful Kings Canyon, passing            through the sandstone domes and down into the Garden of                Eden. Enjoy cooling off in the waterholes before returning to              camp for lunch. After lunch you head onto your final                          destination...... Alice Springs. Arriving approx 6.30pm.
       - Points of Interest-  Ayres Rock, Coober Pedy, Flinders                  Ranges, Kings Canyon, The Olgas, and William Creek.
